Alzheimer's Care

Having the right resources and care program can help manage a positive quality of life for those who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Family caring for loved ones with this disease may find it difficult to interact with them. Our caregivers are given a training course specialized for this type of care requirement and more importantly, we continue to review our courses to consistently teach our caregivers how to assist your loved ones.

Our training program includes:

Painting with Watercolor

Respite Care

We encourage respite care for all family caregivers. Whether you're a daughter, son, friend, or grandchild, you should take some time for "you." Give yourself that moment to gather your mind with our professional caregivers taking over the care duties. Not only does this help you, but it also allows your loved one to interact with a new face. Our caregivers make the best of our clients' time by providing activities for them to do or maybe you need some much-needed sleep at night in which case, our caregivers can watch over while you rest. Regardless, this care can provide:

Dementia Care
Respite Care
  • Learning how to understand our clients' emotions and communicate in a positive manner

  • Know how to set a positive mood for healthy interactions

  • Understand the importance of staying patient, flexible, and adapting to routines

  • Learning how to limit distractions and ease frustration

  • Responding with warm tones and reassurance to reduce anxiety and confusion

  • Trusted and professional care while you're away

  • Night watch

Medi-Cal Waiver Program
Medicaid recipients may be eligible to receive care at home through the Home and Community-Based Alternatives, HCBA, Waiver Program.
The HCBA Waiver is a program passed by Medicaid/Medi-Cal to provide care management services to persons at risk of nursing home or institutional placement. Care management services can be medical, behavioral health, In-Home Supportive Services/Caregiving, or other available long-term services aimed at keeping participants living at home. This program allows seniors and adults with disabilities to continue living at home while receiving caregiving assistance on a routine basis.
To apply for the HCBA Waiver Program, please visit the Institute on Aging website at:

Veterans Affairs Benefits
As a Veteran, you may be eligible for benefits and health care through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
The VA provides benefits for a variety of reasons. One of those reasons is for required home care. You are likely to receive compensation or assistance with paying for services if you have a service-connected disability that prevents you from living independently or limits you from performing the basic activities of daily living (cooking, bathing, getting dressed, using the restroom, etc.)
To find out more about this VA benefit, please visit the Veterans Affairs website at:
